My main interest now are my Bordeaux's. My previous all consuming interest for more than twenty years was training dogs for competitive obedience - competing at the Crufts obedi­ence championships on three occa­sions with two different dogs.

Achieving 4th place with my Obedience Champion TEIKA OF KATHROW was the high­light of my obedience career. During that time I trained other handlers to compete in obedience and now I train pet dogs in their own homes on a one to one basis. With this experience in mind I thought I should put a few thoughts together regarding temperament, early assessment and moulding.
