We are very proud to announce that we have reached the milestone of winning 50 GREEN STARS.

In Ireland a GREEN STAR is awarded to the Best Dog and Best Bitch in each breed at a Championship show,

who then compete for Best of Breed.

A GREEN STAR is equal to a CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE ( C.C. ) in the U.K.

and LE CERTIFICAT D`APTITUDE AU CHAMPIONNAT ( C.A.C. ) in Europe

For a dog to become an IRISH CHAMPION it now has to win 7 GREEN STARS,

under the old points system, a dog could gain its title by winning 4 GREEN STARS,

each worth 10 points, dependant on how many dogs were present.

The dog in each breed that wins the most GREEN STARS in a year is awarded the title of ANNUAL CHAMPION for that year by the IRISH KENNEL CLUB, Best of Breed awards are taken into account if there are two dogs having won the same number of GREEN STARS.

We are the  First kennel to campaign 5 Dogues to their FULL Irish title of CHAMPION,

and we are the ONLY Dogue De Bordeaux kennel in the UK to have won  57 GREEN STARS.
